Having Trouble Setting Up Attributes For Downloads

Ok, I am having trouble setting up downloads on my site.

Before anyone asks or suggests, yes, I have already looked through the FAQ and other posts.

I have the latest version (just downloaded it last week).



Now, this is where the problem lies:


I'm trying to set up stock image downloads (purchased downloads, not free downloads).

Say, for example, I have a photo of a Wolf.
That photo comes in 4 different sizes.
Each size would be a different price.


So basically, the setup should be something like:

Wolf.jpg

Size 1: Download ($5) ( ) <--empty radio button

Size 2: Download ($10) ( )

Size 3: Download ($15) ( )

Size 4: Download ($20) ( )




But it appears more like this:

Wolf.jpg

Size 1: Download ($5) (X) <--filled radio button

Size 2: Download ($10) (X)

Size 3: Download ($15) (X)

Size 4: Download ($20) (X)



Customers should be able to click one of the radio buttons to select which size they want to buy.

The problem is, all of the radio buttons are already selected by default and there's no way to de-select any of them.

The attribute settings for each size all show that none of them are to be selected by default, yet they still all remain selected.


Any ideas on how to fix this?

Did you create 4 option names - or one option name with 4 option values?

4 option names, 1 option value.

should it be the opposite?

Yes, One Option Name like "Size" with as many option values assigned to it as required

Normally, one additional as in "Please Choose" with no value but selected forces a selection
