red flag Multiple email destinations for payment info with offline module

I have a problem that is related but not exactly the same.

I need to have the order confirmation and the extra CC info sent to two addresses.

I have them both entered with comma between. The first address in order is receiving the order confirmation but not the extra CC info email. The second email in the pair receives both emails. The first address is an AOL address, the second is my company server.

    [email protected],[email protected]

I know I can create a work around on my mail server to create a forward to send to just one separate account then on to the two destinations but that is a last resort if I can't figure out how to assure both destinations receive both emails with each order.

    Any suggestions are welcome.

In fact, it's quite different ... so deserves discussion in a separate thread ... so I've moved it to its own.

That won't work. For security reasons it was built to send only to one address.

I guess I'll never understand why anyone would ever send credit card details to an AOL address. :eeks:

That is both the fastest and simplest way to do it.
Anything else will require editing core code in a way that Zen Cart deems unadvisable and thus will not post such edit details on the forum.

Sounds like you need to work with your hosting company to determine why emails destined to you are getting dropped before they're delivered.

I read that, thanks. But the issue seems to be a mixed bag because there are two emails sent, Order Confirmation and Extra CC Information. Both to same addresses. In each case the order confirmation is ALWAYS received yet to one of the two recipient emails the Extra CC info is NEVER received. They are on AOL so I asked them to double check spam filters etc. and to white list the Zen server's domain.

Still working on the matter and will keep posted if we find a specific cause and/or solution.

    Thanks again.

As I described above, the code is NOT written to support multiple email recipients for credit card details.

PLUS ... WHAT IS THE POINT of separating credit card numbers into separate emails if you're going to send both the confirmation and the extra digits to the SAME email address?
    Especially on AOL.

This is one of the biggest reasons why the "Offline Credit Card" module will no longer be supported in the next version of Zen Cart.

You are dancing with fraud/security risks ...

Anyway, see my earlier posts for recommendations to your original question.
