css problem Side panel not on its place...

    Hi all,
I tried to adjust the width on my site, but no luck, then i found out how to do it...but then (i dont know why) the left side panel is centered itself to middle of the page (vertically).
Any ideas what is wrong and how to fix it please?

after waiting twenty minutes for it to load.....

You have a width problem somewhere that's shoving it down. If you remove the width 176 from the #left in the css, it jumps halfway back to the top.

It looks correct now in firefox. You have apparently resized the width of either the header pic or something in that area.

What I was trying to tell you was that, somewhere in the center column or right column you had gone over the allotted width for a wrapper and that made the left column drop till it found room to display at the specified 176px width.

If you have the main wrapper at 980 with an image of 620, that leaves 360 for both columns to share. Each side column is now at 176 which leaves margin room and makes all three fit across the top.

However, your css call for the mid width is 600px. This may be what you did to make the columns work, but the image header_pic is 620px. If you want to see the difference, use firebug with firefox and turn off the width for either left, mid, or right.

My comment about the twenty minutes relates to the fact that your home page has nearly 750k of just images. With a 56k modem, your site takes three minutes to load.
