    Default error Could not execute: /usr/sbin/sendmail

    I am using zencart version 1.38a

    I have recently installed a SSL certificate on my website.

    I have updated the admin configure and includes configure page for SSL = true - and the SSL is active for the payment page and login page.

    However, when a customer purchase an item and pays for it with either websites payment pro or through regual paypal the following error message appears after they click the complete order button "Could not execute: /usr/sbin/sendmail"

    The payment is being processed in paypal and is recorded in the website's admin area.

    Am I missing something? Has anyone else encountered this problem?

    I believe the issue is that when I upgraded to the SSL my host moved my information to a new server and perhaps some of the files were copied incorrectly. I will revert to an older backup and see what happens

    Nothing to do with PayPal
    That message suggests that you've got your Email Transport set to use "sendmail", but your new server needs a different method. Try PHP instead.
    Admin->Configuration->Email Options->Email Transport

    Updated send mail transport method in configure > email options > Email transport method to PHP. All issues resolved.

    Thank you
