Discounts for multiple orders over a time period

Hi,

I want to allow customers to aggregate their product orders over a period of 3 days. Then, there would be a group discount for this larger order once a combined order size is reached.

Example:

A 10% discount is available for orders over 3000 products.
Customer 1 puts in an order for 1000 products on day 1.
This order remains live for 3 days and another customer may add to this.
So Customer 2 comes along on Day 3 and orders 4000 products.
Therefore the 2 customers combined order is over 3000 products and both customers receive a 10% discount.

Does anyone know if this is doable in ZenCart and how to do it?
