Changing the Center Column Width

I have spaces of about a half inch on either side of the center column seperating it from the left column and right column..

I have been playing around with every margin and padding setting i can find in the stylesheet but nothing seems to narrow that gap.

any ideas?

	padding: 0 28px 0 0;
}
.columnRight {
	padding: 0 0 0 28px;
}

Reduce the 28px dimensions as desired.
