coupon/gift certificate/other help please

ok here is what i'm looking to do, i searched and came up with nothing. At the beginning of every month i would like to give a group of customers (not all) a gift. I would like to be able to change who gets this gift from month to month. I would also like to change what the gift is from month to month instead of a monotary amount. I would also like to be able to make it able for the customer to be able to get multiples of the gift up to lets say 3 or 4. All of this i have not been able to do or even figure out a way to do with either the gv or coupon. Is there any way to be able to do what i'm looking to do in zen?

You say that some customers can order a set of specified products for free in an Unlimited quantity?. This can be done with a coupon, that is restricted for a category where all the special products are in. You can link the products and reset their master category ID to do this.
