XSS protection patch - and - PCI Scans - patch

Hi just read these two posts and got a little confused by what you're trying to say to clarify:

XSS protection patch:

index.php
Add the new lines shown, around approx line 135:

Do you just want me to copy/paste it in - OR - do you want me to OVERWRITE what's on the line?

If add in, do you want it in front of "while (!$customers->EOF)"

Where exactly am I putting it?
Same question for:
customers.php
sqlpatch.php


PCI Scans - patch
Create a NEW file, call it: /includes/extra_configures/pci_patch_v13x_search.php

/includes/extra_configures/ If I don't see the extra_configures folder am I looking in the worng folder or am I to create the folder and then save the file in it?


I'm a little rusty looking at the coding atm.

I had the same question. What you do is copy the red text and paste it into the code between the black text. The black text is what is already there, the red text is what needs to be added.
