Problem with Order Status

Those settings look fine.

Firstly, check that your test order is less than 7 days old. I know it's a simple thing, but as we can't see your test store, it is an easy thing to overlook.

Next, check that your products are set up correctly, with an attribute that has a product you can actually download.

Finally, check that your downloadable product does actually exist in the right location on your server. If it's a big file, and you are trying to upload it through the admin, if the folder didn't have the corrct permissions when you tried to upload it, or the file was too big, then the file may not have made it to the right directory.

Products are set up correctly, with an attribute that has a product you can actually download and everything is ok.

One question:
if I reinstall the store what settings should I set that customers could download the product instantly?

everything is alright now.
ZC has a problem. When you create an attribute and if you choose Option Type "Read Only" then download button just doesn't show at the customer account section but if you choose Option Type "Dropdown" everything is OK. I think it's a bug of ZC.

READ ONLY is just that ... READ ONLY ... it is not made for anything other than to display text on the product_info page ... when the Product is added to the cart it will NOT include any READ ONLY attributes ...

Downloads need to be setup as Dropdown, Radio Button or Checkbox ...

I have been having the same problem as fitwer - everything is set just as you described,but I still can't get a download to download! I am having the same issue with paid downloads too - I hope someone will answer this quite quickly as my store is just about gaining a good rep and I don't want to lose it!!!!!

In order to checkout with a $0.00 cart order you need to install in the Modules ... Payment ... The Zen Cart FREE CHARGE CARD freecharger ... so that the checkout can be completed ...
