    Default Not shipping to your region at this time - erro

    I have Zen Cart 1.3.8a installed with many modules. I recently installed Fast and Easy Checkout 1.6.2. Now, when I create a new customer test account, I am getting two errors when I go to check out:

    "Sorry, we are not shipping to your region at this time." and "Sorry, we are not accepting payments from your region at this time."

    The test account is in the US. I'm using PayPal Express with the Payment Zone set to USA. I ship using FedEx Express and US Postal Service, and the Shipping Zones are set to USA. Free Shipping Options is also set to USA for Shipping Zones. I only accept payment from the US and only ship to the US.

    If I log in as an existing customer in the US, I DO NOT get these errors.

    I had this problem some time ago. Check this on Admin>Catalog>Catagory and products> PRODUCT NAME

    and look at:

    Tax Class: Ensure that it is set to Taxable Goods. Its in the darken portion by price.

    Thanks for the quick response. I checked and it is set to Taxable Goods. Any other thoughts?

    This is from the FAQ.

    Sorry, we are not shipping to your region at this time.


    A module is unavailable for one of two reasons:

    1. it's not installed
    2. or it's installed but has a Shipping Zone restriction set on it, and the customer's shipping address isn't in that specified zone.



    Or maybe the order qualifies for Free Shipping, but you don't have the freeshipper module installed.



    Sorry, I remember having this problem a long time ago(and it made me go crazy). It is something very simple, I wish I could remember exactly what it was.

    All the restrictions are set to the USA, and the USA is where the test customer is located and where the order is shipping to. The messages "Sorry, we are not shipping to your region at this time." and "Sorry, we are not accepting payments from your region at this time." only occur with new customers.

    The odd thing is, if I log in with an older customer login, I don't get those messages.

    just reinstalled the UPSP module, but i'm still getting both errors on the new customer account login

    figured out why i was getting the messages. ended up i didn't have the state field turned on in the form. Now that I've turned it on, all is good.

    I did notice however, that there is an extra field under the state dropdown menu in the Change Shipping Address form and in the Update Address Book Entry form. Will try to figure out how to remove that now.
