"database appears to need patching" just after install

Hi!
I know my question is not something new. But I did not find solution.

There is warning string:
[FONT="Arial Black"]Your database appears to need patching to a higher level. See Admin->Tools->Server Information to review patch levels.
[/FONT]

I've installed Zen version 1.3.8. and just is getting the warning. Following is thew configuration
Database: MySQL 4.1.25-log
PHP Version: 5.2.10 (Zend: 2.2.0)
Server OS: FreeBSD 6.4-RELEASE-p3

Is your install ZC 1.3.8 or ZC 1.3.8.a ?

Was it a manual install or automatic via cPanel Fantastico?

Thanks for your responce.
Zen cart was downloaded from zen-cart home page, it seems me as version 1.3.8. After the download, it was unzipped, copied and ran manualy(?) install from http//<my-domain-root>/zc-install.

if your ZC was downloaded only recently then it is most likely the most up to date version.

if you can access the admin then admin>tools>server version info should give you an idea which ZC version you are running.

also: in admin top right hand corner look for something like "Your version of Zen Cart™ appears to be current." or for a button to update.

on my previous post click the link to the patches, scroll to 1.3.8 and click dealing with known bugs etc.

OK all.

I removed previously installed Zen-Cart and install new one via Fantastico cPanel. It's working now perfect.
