HELP importing sql database

I deleted one of my sites and uninstalled zen cart, I did a database backup before doing so. I reinstalled zencart and i am now trying to import the old database backup into the new database and i am getting this error?

#2006 - MySQL server has gone away

Any help would be great

You could have large database that is taking longer than your server maximum time to execute a mysql script.

If this is correct then you have to allow more time to execute such commands.

Talk to your host about this - that is a mysql server issue

Thanks Kobra.. Believe it or not may of your post have gotten me through tons of problems...I did contact my host and this is what i did.
I did the database backup through godaddy's hosting control center and i was trying ti import the database through phpadmin and that was not going to work. I had to go back into the hosting control center click on the database and then restore. it listed all the files in the db_backups,then i selected the backup i wanted to restore and it worked.
IT WAS A TIME OUT PROBLEM BUT RESTORES THROUGH GODADDY BYPASS THAT.

Provided that you know how to do it you can also restore databases of any size using SSH.

phpMyAdmin is of very limited use when it comes to restoring large databases.
