One.com/Email Error: SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.

Hi all, firstly apologies if this problem has been posted before, I've checked through the forum, and cant seem to find a solution. I'm using the latest version of ZC, and am trying to configure an email a/c provided on the same server - One.com. I've checked with my hosting provider, and they've confirmed that details I'm using are correct, but still getting the following when sending a 'test' order:

Email Error: SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.

E-Mail Transport Method smtpauth

SMTP Email Account Mailbox [email protected]
SMTP Email Account Password *******
SMTP Email Mail Host send.one.com
SMTP Email Mail Server Port 2525

Usually the SMPT Host will be
mail.mydomain.co.uk
Best to verify with your host

Checked with hosting company again, SMTP Email Mail Host send.one.com/SMTP Email Mail Server Port 2525 definately correct.

Could it be an issue with one of my PHP files? really stuck with this problem, not sure what else I can check...

"could not connect" means that your PHP service on your hosting server was unable to get a response from the specified mail server.
Maybe there are firewall rules blocking those ports?
Your hosting company will need to sort out these problems for you.

Morning everyone...I still have this ongoing issue with my hosting provider - One.com and SMTP/mail error. I have a feeling this may be down to the recent upgrade of PHP version One.com have implemented. I have contacted them, but not getting anywhere..

What I need to know, is whether or not a patch is available to resolve PHP5 issues with Zen Cart? (I have downloaded the most recent version of ZC). Any feedback would be very much appreciated, I want to use ZC, but if not possible, may have to consider another cart.

Hello again, update..have found and installed the patch, and all *fingers crossed* seems to be working if I set the email to PHP. Thanks for everyones help.

Which patch and where to find it? I've got exactly the same problem, have read almost ev'ry thread about it, tried all kinds of configrations. Nothing works. HELP

I also have the same problem with one.com so I would be pleased with a bit more detailed solution
