Default Whoops! Your session has expired - Paypal Express

I hope someone can help with this

Just started a new site (www.3Gcase.com) and all Paypal Express Customers are given "Whoops! Your session has expired." when returning to my site.

I've tested it, and if I complete paypal checkout fast enough (< 1 min) it works fine, but if it exceeds 1 minute, the session expires and the cart is empty.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

    Please help

    -Kyle

Nope, it happened twice again today and is costing me too much money so I disabled it.

If anyone has any suggestions I'd really appreciate it.

I am experiencing the same problem and talked to my ISP and paypal. I sitll couldn't find the solution. Can anyone help? I checked the error log and it's like the session wasn't there becuase the customer didn't log in or something. However, why would the customer need an account for the site if he's using paypal express checkout.

    Please help

    3gcase & others,
This is an issue with the php time set too low by the host - You need to request that they extend it

As referenced by 3gcase test, if done fast all is fine

    Hi, Kobra
What php time set are you talking about? I want to find out what it is so I can call my hosting company and see what they can do about it.

    Thanks

kobra seems to be talking about max_time_limit setting in php.ini.
But frankly, that's a red herring IMO. It's not a PHP timeout issue.
It looks like something's amuck in how data is being received back from PayPal.

I can't duplicate the problem at all, but that's what it sounds like to me.

Could be but...I keyed on this where things are passed correctly
    Only reported difference is time

Sorry, but I seem to have completely missed whatever wisdom you think you shared with me. What exactly did you "key on" that should illuminate the exact root cause of the problem?

I just was theorizing from your post that if things were "amuck" they would be for every instance.
The OP posted about a time sensitive issue
I've tested it, and if I complete paypal checkout fast enough (< 1 min) it works fine, but if it exceeds 1 minute, the session expires and the cart is empty.
So I take away from this that all is working fine UNLESS the time interval exceeds ??? value
