Default What's your preferred HTML editor software application?

I'm using TextPad4 for years, not a bad editor, as it's fast and fairly robust. But I'm wondering what else is out there. I'm looking for a Notepad-like editor, i.e., not a WYSIWYG, and preferably something with web language handling built in. Which editor do you use?

I like Notepad++ (free from Sourceforge). It handles many multiple tabs, optional split-screen so you can look at two files side by side, automatically highlights PHP and HTML (and a bunch of others I haven't used), marks matching opening/closing brackets in PHP at least, etc...
