    Default links color and background help// iframe?

    edit/// actually, i want to ask is it possible to use zen cart with iframe? before i install zen cart i made this layout http://cafe.milk-drops.com i coded the basic and left it there to install zen cart. once i saw the default template i was disappointed but i compromise.

    but because i'm clueless to this all, i want to know if i can still use zen cart but place the pages and links in my iframe layout?

    right now i'm trying to work on the layout of the page but i'm having a few issue with the stylesheet

    this is my website: http://cafe.milk-drops.com/cart

    to see what it looks like i added a fake product in a catalog called lens. the link to this is under the logo/header and it's completely white! i want to change the background color to that link and move it to the sidebar instead. how would i do that?

    also, on the main page, the background is a pale yellow. but if you click on any other page (such as log in) the layout background becomes white. how do i change it all to yellow?

    Iframes and Zen Cart don't play well together. Incorporate your design into Zen Cart. It'll be much easier.

    When you made your template, did you reset the side boxes?
    admin > tools >layout boxes controller > reset

    This will allow the categories sidebox display

    ah, i completely gave up. i decided on an easier method.
    i installed zen cart again under a different folder to test things out.

    http://cafe.milk-drops.com/ecart
    i used the default temple (classic) and edit from there

    its working a lot better than the old one
    onto my new question, the middle column is higher than the two side column. how would i move the side column up?

    Looks like a good start on a template.
    The effect you mention is due to the sideboxes all having a margin-top. This spaces them down from the previous sidebox, and also spaces the top sideboxes down from the header. If you want the sideboxes up against the header, you could either remove the margin-top on the two sideboxes, or change all sideboxes from margin-top to margin-bottom.
    Code:
    #categories, #search {margin-top: 0;}

    .leftBoxContainer, .rightBoxContainer {
        margin-top: 1.5em; <-delete
        margin-bottom: 1.5em <-add
