    Default '0 units in stock', and No Add to Cart

    Hi,

    I've set up a few products in my store, and they're showing as '0 units in stock'. I've looked at a various pages of settings, but can't figure out why it's showing that.

    Also, I've no 'Add to Cart' option - I'm guessing that if I sort out the '0 units in stock' issue, that will sort out the 'Add to Cart' issue? If not is there some other setting I need to be aware of?

    What do yolu want?
    Are youyr sales stock level controlled?

    check options in admin > config > stock

    To not display qty on the frontend

    admin > catalog > product type > select general > select "EDIT LAYOUT" > Show Quantity in Stock > set to "0"

    Thanks for that, I've got rid of the 0 items in stock now.

    I still don't have any Add to Cart option though - why is that?

    Sorry, not sure what you mean by are my sales stock level controlled - it's a flower shop, so they're putting various bouquets / arrangements together, so not like another store where they either have an item or they don't, if that answers the question in any way. I thought 'Add to Cart' would just automatically be on the product pages.

    I was having the same exact problem and i just figured it out about 30 seconds ago.

    admin > configuration > stock > Show Sold Out Image in place of Add to Cart

    set that option to 0 and the add to cart shows up.

    Thanks for that Adalast, just tried it but it didn't make any difference.

    There's actually no access to a shopping cart of any kind - no link to 'View Basket' or anything like that. It's like my store is a showcase rather than an actual store - ahhh hang on a minute .......

    Yes, it was set to 'Showcase with Prices' instead of 'Normal Store'. Just changed it to Normal Store and guess what? Yep, I got the Add to Cart option.

    I've spent AGES trying to figure this out! That soooo bugs me, when I waste so much time trying to figure out something that's actually really simple - if I only knew what to do.

    Ok, rant over, I've got over it now.
