"Always" in stock & "one-off" stock items

Hi, I have searched and searced and played and played with my configurations for stock levels but just cannot seem to work this one out.

I sell cards: some digital images which are "always" in stock, and also handmade cards which are "one-offs".

How can i set my stock levels to show this?

Your advice would be very much appreciated.

Set stock as for control subtracting when purchased - etc

For your always in stock add ample stock like 100000

You will seldom have to add additional

I guessed that was going to be the answer.

I have been selling digital cards for over 3 years and have only just started with the handmade ones, so i now have to laboriously change the quantity for 100's of items !!

Assuming that you have many more items that are not limited it may be quicker to change the few that need to be "1" than to change the many that you need at 100000

Back your DB before doing any of this as insurance

Run the following from your admin > tools > sql patch

UPDATE products SET products_quantity= products_quantity 100000
