Put your hands on the front of the server and push.
OK...
There is a mod in the download section called mysql backup. Very easy to install. It will add backup and restore functions to your admin page.

Personally, I use my Cpanels Backup and Restore utility.No installations necessary..

For $2 a month my host does a daily backup of my sites and my databases. (never had to use it though, in 6 years - very good host!)
