    Default Char Encoding, Where do I set?

    Dear All,

    I have used zen cart to create a few sites now and I never had a problem with char display until today. I have build 2 very similar sites (different template). When use IE to browse, the char encoding select differenctly. Both site require UTF-8 to display the text content properly. One does just that, the other goes to ISO without thinking and hence messed up some of the text. I manually change that back to UTF-8 and text display fine after.

    I wonder, is there a default charset somewhere I can amend so that when browser visit this site would know the correct char encoding is UTF-8 and select accordingly.

    Many thanks for your help! This forum is Great!!!!!

    After making the change, the site originally display ISO still does it. I have compare the code on both of the english.php, line 22 both read

    PHP Code:
      @setlocale(LC_TIME'en_US.UTF-8');
    What can I take it from here? Many thanks

    I have been searching every place that has charset, and its either set to =<?php echo CHARSET; ?>"> or UTF-8. I have compared files on the two site and it still show ISO on one of them when browse. I am scratching my head. WHY???
