Hmm, made no difference to me. I still get the login page displayed in the box.
Can this happen if the API info is incorrect?

Hey guys,
I've got a FB sidebox, I followed this tutorial and it works great...but only in Chrome! I tested it in IE6 and IE7 and it's just a blank/empty sidebox no FB connection at all. Any ideas why it works in one browser and not the other?
Hi, I did everything like I am suppossed to, but in that little iframe shows my facebook page. And if I click on it, it will take me to my Facebook page. What did I missed? Also, what is the "facebook profile name/number"? Is it the Application ID or the Application Secret or something else?

facebook fanbox seems to be unpredictable -no matter which type of script you are using,it will display perfectly one day-disappear the next,or get truncated
thats been my experience anyway
I am having simular problems, tried to remove the logo, still displays..
changed the following
define('FACEBOOK_PROFILE', '/The-Esoteric-Emporium/145421388812693');
define('FACEBOOK_API_KEY', '0ca1681778b5d0e7ea05ec9a86aafe4d');
and still takes me to facebook home page.
Why not install the blank sidebox contribution and paste the iframe code from facebook straight into it. Works for us.
I was actually playing with the idea of putting a little tool bar up the top right hand corner, where the "Home / Log In" is....
Is there any way of having a scroll bar on the sidebox as at the moment it shows the uses who like it, but only the top 2 are visibile. If you click and drag within the box you can scroll it down to see the other users but it would be nice to have a scroll bar to make this obvious
I know it's old but someone else might need the answer.
open templates/sidebox/tpl_facebook_box.php
and add
style="overflow:scroll"
to the line
(16) $content .= '<div id="' . str_replace('_', '-', $box_id . 'Content') . '" class="">' . "\n";
just after <div
works for all overflow if you get the boxwidth right you only get it down the side for a vertical bar.
