OK, figured out how to get the API key.

But the sidebox is blackend out. Does it take awhile to update?

Thanks for your help! Got it all sorted out.

I looked up how to obtain an API Key on Google, and someone posted a short vid on YouTube.

The reason it wasn't working, is because the facebook_box.php language file indicates 'your profile name/number' should be plugged in.

When I did just that, the sidebox was black. However, when I inserted the profile number only, then it worked. :)

Now one more question: Is there a way eliminate the thumbnail image in the sidebox? Everything else is just fine.

From fcb wiki: style sheet can modify the Fan Box's colors and fonts, but it cannot delete, obscure or modify:
* Your Page title and icon
* The Become a Fan button
* The order of the elements (button, stream, fans)

OK, Thanks for the info.

I'm not sure what to do now, because the Facebook thumnail images are not secure, so whenever you navigate to a secure page, the Security warning box pops up.

I can't figure out how to make those images secure

I see now.
Replace this:

by

<script type="text/javascript" src="https://www.connect.facebook.com/js/api_lib/v0.4/FeatureLoader.js.php/' . FACEBOOK_LOCALE . '"></script> 

Now should work fine. I will make new version with external javascript file for SSL and no secure pages. The main problem I relaized now is that sidebox could have some issues with other fcb apps due to javascript code in sidebox.

Hello, Thank you for updating.

Now the box displays intermittently. Sometimes works, sometimes does not. Any ideas?
