Multiple images for product

Hello,

I have the following scenario ...

Have two different types of product.

Product A) works in normal zencart manner. Product listing 1 product per row, name,image, description, price. Click on it, go to the product detail page , 1 nice sized image, description, price, add to checkout ... all good.

Product B) Similar to A), just when I go to the product detail page (after product listing), I wish to show multiple images, instead of description, price etc etc . Almost like a gallery page for a given product...

Can this be setup through product types or do I need to change my tpl_product_info_display.php and tpl_modules_main_product_image.php to just handle the product type B). ?

The default additional images function may or may not fill your requirement

Hi kobra,

I've read that article on mutiple images and I think I understand it. Yet I still cant get this to work. As an example I have an image 'no_entry.gif' in my images directory. I have created two other images no_entry_01.gif and no_entry_02.gif in the same directory. I went into admin images and changed

Product Info - Number of Additional Images per Row 3 yet i still dont see the additional images. Not sure what I'm missing here ....

just to add that i also changed the setting in admin>product types>product general>edit>Show product additional images to '1'

Kobra,

Made a fresh install of zencart on local machine, checked the 3 images and it worked. Its because pl_modules_additional_images.php calls tpl_columnar_display.php which had been overwritten by the mod to turn products by row into products in columnar format.
