Has anyone ever worked a solution which adds VAT (value added tax - sales tax) and duty a fixed amount depending on volume for liquor? How would one do this? Thanks. Obviously will depend on zones too.

Oh, and by the way the VAT is calculated on the duty. So the calculation looks like this:
Cost 10
Duty (fixed amt) 1.61
sub 11.61
VAT at 17.5%
Total etc
I've worked out a solution in case anyone is interested (as yet, not fully tested). I created an attribute called transport/storage (radio button). I have two options for this - to retain the status of the product as is e.g. this could be an item which requires sales tax, does not require sales tax, requires not just sales tax but import duty too. The second option is for the item to be delivered duty paid. Depending on the product I then assign an amount (which is fixed) to which I have already added the sales tax (which is a percentage) - I include this in Prefix Price in the attribute controller. I then add a percentage factor (in the Price Factor box) to accrue the sales tax. All this does what I described above. Because the item has already been designated when inputting it into the catalogue as an item which does not attract sales tax there is, I think, no other way to do this. Anyway, if anyone needs any clarification just post here.
