"Better Together" help

Hi!

So I recently installed Better Together. I have a product which is absolutely free. I have added the product in a new category called "Freebies". I then have:

$this->add_cat_to_prod(1, 1, '%', 100);

in which all products in category 1 gets the product 1 with a 100% discount (should i still add a discount even if the product is already free? my i ask how to just remove the discount?).

Also is it possible to make the category "Freebies" not accessible since I'd only want the product to be viewable once a buyer purchases a product from category 1?

It is possible but it's outside the scope of Better Together. Perhaps a better solution - which doesn't require extra code - is for you to price product 1 at a couple of bucks and then say "but free when purchased with an item from category 1".

Oh ok. Hmm, maybe I'll go with the "requirement of extra coding". Uhm, what would be the best way to do it? Is it possible with overriding? Or should I provide a patch for myself?
