Why do attributes change product display?

I set the products to display in 3 columns per row. Works great until I add attributes to the product. Now I have 1 column instead of 3. It makes for a very long list of products. The products have a "...more info" link above. I would also prefer the "...more info" to be below the product image if possible. Anybody else experience this and know how to resolve? Thanks!

If you put up a link to your site I could make additional suggestions because this tendency to "nudge" the listing into a single column is usually a combination of factors.

The ORDER of component display in product listing is cotntrolled in admin >>> product listing...

I will need to see the underlying CSS you may have applied in order to give any suggestions.

Here's the link to the site. You'll see that at the top are products with attributes showing 1 product per row. As you move down the list, the products without attributes are in a row of 3 items which is what I prefer.

First thing I would suggest is renaming two of your stylesheets. Zencart loads all stylesheet files with the .css extension in the current template's css folder, so your style.css, stylesheet.css and stylesheet-non24-09.css may be fighting each other.

I deleted the file stylesheet-non24-09.css but no difference. Is there a setting within the Admin that I need to revisit? Hmm.. I'm stumped and don't know where to look next.

Has anybody else had the display spacing of their products reconfigured after attaching attributes to their products? If so, did you find a solution to display them in 2 or 3 columns rather than 1 column? I'd really rather not have a single column of products that goes on and on.

If I were having that problem, I would resort the products so that the items with attributes were mixed in with the ones without and see what happens. What it looks like to me now is a bug in the Column Grid mod.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, all the items will have an attribute as they each come in 2 sizes. I've thought about not using attributes but would prefer to use them if I can find a way. Do you think I should upgrade to a later release of Zen cart? Or will that open up a new can of worms?
