PayPal not returning order info!!

Good evening all, as you can see I am a newbie. I would be eternally greatful for any help.

I have loaded PayPal express on my site and did a test transaction. the problem is that when i get the payment notification, the admin side of my site doesn't show that there is an order. does anyone have any ideas? My site is http://www.fragrantgifts.com

View the transaction logs
Post them if results are not clear to you

I think it's something with PayPal. Same thing is happening with us. Out of the blue, trying to view any order paid with a paypal account is taking over a minute to display.

Even when you go through our checkout and select the PayPal express option, it's taking just as long to be taken to the PayPal site. However, if you just go to PayPal.com, that aspect is fast.

Not too sure what is going on at this point.

Dr Byte - Here are the log details that we are suddenly getting. Nothing was changed on our end between today and yesterday when this was working. Could it just be a PayPal API thing that will have to fix itself?

Same problem with us! Glad to hear it's not just me... we can't edit any orders where the payment method is paypal. I did a test order on our site and checkout_success.php returns a blank page!

Wonder what's going on... ack!

I also did the Zencart CURL test (curltest.php) and everything is working fine.....so that proves to me that it must be something on PayPal's side. If Dr Byte has anything to add, I'm sure he will jump in here.

I think everything is working fine now for us... looks like it was just a temporary glitch from Paypal's end.

In the future, when problems suddenly crop up like this, it's almost always something about the destination provider, in this case PayPal.
If it were affecting only one person, then it may be something wrong on their own server and they should contact their host.
But esp when it affects multiple people, contact the vendor directly. In PayPal's case, use: www.paypal.com/mts

Yep - As I suspected, it had something to do with PayPal and now all is mysteriously resolved!
