Hello there,
I'm using the newest version of Zen, with all security patches applied (that I could find).
I've further installed the VAT-module and the PDF-bill module.
I've enabled Paypal Express Checkout as the only billing method.
Because of some bug in the VAT-module with Paypal (I'll explain it below), I would like to switch off that the user is taken to Paypal first.
That means, there should be no "Express Checkout" Button in the shopping basket or on the "login or create an account" page, only the option to use Paypal as payment method later.
Do I have to edit the php files directly, removing the code for displaying the button, or is there an option in the admin area?
The reason why I need it is this:
If a user who is not a company orders from another country within the EU, he has to pay VAT. If they create an account on my site first, before going to paypal, this works fine. If they click on "Paypal express checkout" on the shopping basket, the account is created automatically from the address delivered by paypal (with correct country information), but for some reason, the user does then not have to pay the VAT any more...
If someone has a solution to problem number two, which includes the solution to problem number one, I'd be very thankful
Bernhard
