Customised Reporting

Is there any way of writing customised reports and then making them available to run in the future?

There's an Ad Hoc Report mod in the Free Software Add Ons that apparently lets you build reports fron mySQL views, but I haven't had a chance to try it yet.

Thanks I found another module Sales Reports in the Add Ons that does the trick for me.
