red flag Is the (Email Address Exporter) Mod Compatible with 1.3.9d?

    Hi all,

Is the (Email Address Exporter) Mod Compatible with Zen-Cart 1.3.9d?

I have just installed it but I am getting an error when I click on the link from the admin tools dropdown.

    Thank you for your help.

That's because something you've done has altered the queries in the query_builder table, and broken the extraction SQL. Likely a result of incorrectly removing an addon like newsletter-subscribe.

    Hi DrByte,

    Thank you for your reply.

I just clicked on admin/tools/send email and it gave me the same error!

How can I narrow down the problem?

I just created a new website and I imported my upgraded database from the older website.
Everything else seems to be working fine so far!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

As I said, you have bad entries in your query_builder table.
    You'll need to fix those.
I guess you could wipe them all out and restore them from a backup from somewhere else, if you don't care about anything that's in there.

    Ok,

I have just dropped the zen_query_builder from the database and it now works fine :)
It doesn't seem to be a need for me to get a restore/backup from somewhere else.

What is the use of the Query_Builder anyway?

    Thank you DrByte.

    Cheers,

You need the query_builder table because it stores the extraction rules for group emailing ... which is the same rules used by the email address exporter.

    Thank you again DrByte,

Yes, I just realised that I cannot export any email addresses that are on my account.
    How can I fix this?

I used an older backed up copy of the database query_builder and it still comes up with the same error.

I tried the older website and it works fine there?
How can I get it to work fine on the newer website?

Use the original contents of that table from a clean install of Zen Cart.
