changing th size of top navigation mother earth template

Hello everyone,
I hope someone can help and hop this will be relatively easy for a novice to change. Basically I have not much pace in my top navigation bar which is in orange. At the moment I can only fit 8 categories on there and I have to keep the category names short because of the space and not helping SEO for my site. Is there a way i can at least double the width of that bar and be able to put a second line of categories on there so I can fit more wording on?

Keeping category names as short as possible is a good idea anyway, but if the problem is that when you add more categories, the links in that bar extend past mainWrapper to the right, find this in your stylesheet and remove the red part.

#navMain ul li, #navSupp ul li, #navCatTabs ul li {
display: inline;
white-space: nowrap;
}

You may have to split #navCatTabsWrapper to its own statement if the other two don't look right.

Thanks for your reply, I have tried the suggestion thank you, although it is working you can see now a button has gone on to the next line it has not increased the height of the orange bar. Do you know a way i can do this I think if I can do this it will look great.

you can try this ..
remove #navCatTabs ul from following rule .
#navMain ul, #navSupp ul, #navCatTabs ul {
color:#FFFFFF;
line-height:1.5em;
list-style-type:none;
margin:0;
padding:0.5em 0;
text-align:left;
}

add this to the end of your stylesheet.css
#navCatTabs ul {
text-align:left;
margin:0;
padding:0;
}
