Idea or Suggestion Importing SQL did not work (1.3.9)

I downloaded my whole current Zen-Cart 1.3.0 database via PhpMyAdmin to a file which I uploaded to my fresh Zen-Cart 1.3.9 install but only what I see are the categories that are imported.

No errors during SQL import. New install is on different server and is different domain.

Um ... merely importing the database is NOT sufficient. You also need to run zc_install to upgrade the old database to work with the newer version.

I have read the upgrading tutorials but they only seem to focus upgrading the whole site, I only need to take old customer/order/review etc. infos from old site.

Is this even near right procedure: Install ZC 1.3.9 with default database -> import old database from ZC 1.3.0 -> run zc_install and upgrade throughout needed steps?

This is something so seldom done it really seems I just can't figure it out right way.

^ Yes, this was the way.

But now /admin/ is opening only blank page, no Log in or nothing. Any ideas?

You could check your Hosting account Error logs for any msgs.
You could check your 'cache' dir. as the Debug Error Logging Utility is provided by default with 1.3.9x
You could post a URL so other eyes could view the problem.
