Multi seller webshop

Hy,

I'm looking for a webshop, that provides an opportunity over the basic functions ( by itself or with plug-ins), like

- to be able to sell downloadable products (for example: e-books)
- both salesmen and customers may register
- the salesmen are free to create new products, which are displayed on the page after the administrators approval
- the salesmen get a commission after their sold products, and receive statistics about that (how many is sold from which product and how much is their commission)
- to be able to keep a record about the salesmen's commission payouts

Does a webshop like this exist (Zen Cart?)?

Zencart was not designed to faciliate "multi-seller" situations, and while there are a couple of modules that could take you part of the way there, the drawback is that there is no way (even with these modules) of restricting the various sellers to their own category and product areas.

ADMIN PROFILES module will allow a high degree of control over who can maniulate many functions - but not to the level of specific products or their categories.

MULTISITE MODULE (quite difficult to install and configure) allows multiple "shop" front-ends to draw off a single database, but again does not facilitate category/product restrictions.
