Creating new pages outside the cart

I have approvals turned on before customers can see products and access the cart. I want to create new pages before the cart that don't require password access. These new pages will contain various content to ads, videos and blog. Also want a different side box menu for those new pages that that is different than the store side box menu. This new side box will not contain any products.
Is this possible with ez pages or some other way? v139h Thanks.

You can create pages using regular HTML and put them in the root directory of your store and name the main page index.html.

What's special about your products that I would be willing to create an account just to see them ?

Products are skincare products for doctors for resale. So using html pages how do I get the same look and feel, header,footer and sidebox?

I do see the index.php?main_page=contact_us page does not require password. could I just duplicate that page and rename each new page following guidelines for creating static pages?

OK, I just copied page source from the Browser and filled in custom content between header and footer and created a bunch of new html pages. First page is index.html instead of index.php (store). I revised menu links in easy pages adding new page links and finally store link that points to index.php.. Thanks for your help!
