    Default Background problem

    I have just uploaded a new website http://www.tarotandoraclecards.com/

    I had developed it using a wamp server on my desktop computer and it works perfectly.
    However, when uploaded I am missing a background pattern (twinkly stars) and the logowrapper.

    The background pattern is included in the stylesheet as:

    body {
    margin: 0;
    font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
    font-size: 62.5%;
    color: #ffffff;
    background-color: #000000;
    background-image: url(../images/bluestarbackground.gif);

    The stylesheet is /includes/templates/MYSITE/css/

    and bluestarbackground.gif is stored in /includes/templates/MYSITE/images/

    The logowrapper problem is identical.

    Can someone please tell me the obvious answer that I'm missing please?

    navigating directly to that image - - I get a "Not Found"

    Triple check that the image is there and is not a "zero" byte size

    The file did exist, but I had not included the initial capital letter on the stylesheet,
    i.e. the stylesheet said bluestarbackground.gif but the image was saved as Bluestarbackground.gif. This wasn't an issue using wamp, but was when uploaded.

    Thanks for your input - it helped me to focus in the right area!

    A good illustration of why it is suggested to use only lowercase for file/folder names (as well as using _ or - instead of spaces).

    If you use all lower-case for all image filenames, you'll never have to remember where any capitalisation should be.
