Download button missing

My download button is missing at the end of file download process page (checkout success page )

Please help!

If it is missing, view the source to see if there is a reference to the button:
button_download.gif

If so, check to see if you have one on your site ...

Also, check the Order Status for the order ... is it set to a proper status to allow for a download?

Now the status of my
Admin > Payment Modules > shows PENDING

what should be my order status ?

By default ... if you want an Order to have Downloads immediately available the Order Status needs to be Processing (orders_status 2) or Delivered (orders_status 3) or Updated (orders_status 4) ...

Usually for things like Check/Money Order you would want it to be Pending to allow for the Check to get processed before allowing the Download ...

But things like Credit Cards and PayPal, usually you want Processing (orders_status 2) so the Download is available right away ...

This should also be checked on The Zen Cart FREE CHARGE CARD freecharger module if you offer Free Downloads and usually Delivered (orders_status 3) works well on that ...

Hi,

I am a complete newbie here and apologise in advance if I am posting this in the wrong place, I have set up zen cart and xampp successfully and all is working locally via the apache server, I am trying to set up a downloadable audio track, I have followed the book and have come unstuck until now, I am not getting the download button, I have viewed the source but can't find button_download.gif in there, could this be why??, the file status is showing green which tells me the filenames, folder locations and attributes are correct, I have found lots of threads on this but they have been solved with things I have already done, any help would be much appreciated as I am fast running out of paracetamol, thanks in advance,

Hi

make sure the button(button_download.gif) is available in the folder
/includes/templates/template_default/buttons/english/button_download.gif

if not, add a button in the name button_download.gif and try the process.

Set the order status of the downloadable audio track
Admin > Payment Modules > Set Completed Order Status Processing [2]
