Alphabetical Product Search Option

is there a way to have clickable letters from a-z at the top that select products according to their first letter.

any way to not have a dropdown but just clickable letters ?

just to add...i don't want the "categories" box listed....I just want an A-Z search bar for people to search.

I would like to accomplish the same thing....I can see on several Zen Cart sites that it is being accomplished, but I am not sure how.

Google "products_alphabetic" and you will find dozens of sites using this approach. How are they doing it?
