    Default Welcome email not sending to user

    Hi,

    I am running zencart 1.3.8 with nochex payment module installed.

    When a user purchases an item from my store as a new user they do not receive the "welcome" email and the "order confirmation" email from zencart.

    In confirguration->email I have set it up so that I, as administrator am copied in and I do successfully receive copies of both emails however the user who made the purchase does not.

    If that same user then makes another purchase from the site using his same account details, he successfully receives the "order confirmation" email.

    Does anybody know why this is happening?

    Hi,

    Even more baffling, Ive just found that the missing emails sent from Zencart on the first purchase (i.e. the "welcome" email and "order confirmation" email) are going straight into the spam folder for customers that have yahoo mail accounts. I ahvent checked other mail clients. I am sending out the regular text-only default email and have made no changes to it at all.

    This is definitely not good. I have the site hosted on easyspace and email are being sent via the easyspace account too.

    Can anybody give any advice as to how I can prevent this? Maybe something in the email config?

    You'll need to fix your domain's email configuration if you want to stop Yahoo from treating your email as spam.
