Hello All,
I am looking for a rotating carousel module to sit on the mainpage of my Zen Cart 1.3.9c install.
Coming from Prestashop, I was using this module (which required next to no configuration):-

and I am looking for something similar, maybe to show the featured products, new products, whatever the module/addon has to offer.
I've spent a lot of time on here looking already and I am looking for (as above) a 3d rotating carousel, not a flat 2d jquery based one.
Any ideas? I'd be most grateful.

It sounds like you want this Flash component? It rotates images and text in a 3D style. It looks good but I found too distracting on my homepage.

I have downloaded the module and installed it, but I am not sure how to show it on the main page of my shop.
Do you have any example of code I may possibly use to show the module on my mainpage?

You can use it on your home page by setting the options on the configuration page. Login to your cart admin, then go to "Configuration" then go to to "Zen Magic Zoom".

Scrap that last message. Doing too many things at one! This is how I did it...
Use it on your product page by setting the options on the configuration page. Login to your cart admin, then go to "Configuration" then go to to "Zen Magic Zoom".
Use it on your home page by manually editing the homepage. Select the images you want in the slideshow, then place them in <img> tags and wrap a div around them with the class MagicSlideshow. Add the link to the JS and CSS in the <head>. These were the instructions I used to do this: http://www.magictoolbox.com/magicslideshow_integration/

Hi there,
Regarding your magic toolbox modules - I am having trouble installing the magic scroller in addition to the magic zoom. I can install each one individually one at a time but cannot install them both together, how did you manage to do it? Whenever I install a second module it seems to "break" the first one? The installer appears to overwrite relevant files.
Any advice welcome!

They both work fine for me. I just downloaded the modules and installed them. Do you see an error message?
