I want to substitute a new image for an existing image eg FREE SHIPPING

I have searched what must be a simple exercise or so I thought, If it has already been answered could some kind soul direct me to the thread.

I want to change the image for FREE SHIPPING which is at:

includes\templates\template_default\images\always-free-shipping.gif

I built a new similarly sized image and over- uploaded the original ( I did keep a copy)

Kick started everything and the old image is still there ( even though it has taken the size of the new image. Technically the new image is uploaded and presumably should show in place of the old??

But no... the old (although theoretically in oblivion) is still showing on every product.

Any ideas what I have done wrong??? Thanks

Refresh your cache and restart your browser - you should be able to see the new image then.

I really hate to ask this ... but how do I refresh the cache???

includes\templates\template_default\images\always-free-shipping.gif

try includes\templates\classic\images\always-free-shipping.gif

Then search the Tutorials/FAQ on custom templates and overrides. Classic is not a good place to customize. Future updates will be much more complicated without a custom template.
