have i missed something? 1.3.8 - 1.3.9c

i tried the following.....

made a copy of my site 1.3.8a and then copied over the new 1.3.9c files over to the server and overwrote all files that were newer.

then patched the database.

now in admin i still get the new version available message. in admin under version io get the following.

Zen Cart 1.3.8a

Database Patch Level: 1.3.9c

v1.3.9c [2010-06-02 07:39:55] (Version Update 1.3.8->1.3.9c)
v1.3.8 [2008-08-12 10:07:04] (Fresh Installation)

... and which instructions were you following that led you to do your upgrade that way?
... What you wrote is NOT the proper upgrade procedure as documented inside your zip of new files as well as in the Tutorials/FAQs area of the Zen Cart website.
