I am new to ZenCart. I have search the net and the forums and tutorials but cannot find an answer. I have set up a salemaker sale but can't find it displaying anywhere on the site. How do you make that happen?

SaleMakers uses the Product's master_categories_id to identify it for a SaleMaker sale ...
Are the Products that you have set the Category on Sale in the Sale Maker setup actually using that categories_id for their master_categories_id on those Products?

When did you set the sale to start/end? On which product(s)? What is your setting in Configuration->Product Info->Show Sales Discount Savings Status?
Do you mean I have to copy all sale products to a new category called salemaker or something like that? I specified the sale to begin on the day I set it up (June 6) and to end on the 11th.
I intended to set it on a whole category. I "thought" I set it to be 10.00 off a purchase of $50.00 or more in the laces category. I just extended the sale through the 30th for testing purposes.
If you have a Category with categories_id 13 and you want that Category 13 to be on Sale via Sale Maker ... then the Products in Category 13 must be using for the master_categories_id the categories_id 13 so that they have the Sale Maker sale working ...
Find what the categories_id is for the Category that you are setting up in SaleMaker to be one sale ...
Now look at the Products in that Category by editing them and see if they use this Category as their master_categories_id ...

Hi Linda, I am having this problem also. I checked and I don't have the Master Category ID listed on any products. This cart was originally Oscommerce, but I moved the database over to a Zen Cart. That's when the sale maker stopped working.
What do I do to fix it?
Thanks!

Thank you sooooo much Linda. That did the trick and it's working now :)
Thanks for the update that you were able to fix the Sale Maker errors by setting valid master_categories_id on all of your Products ...
That products_price_sorter that the other one set was for sorting purposes on the Catalog ...
