I’ve done a preliminary search for anything similar to this and haven’t found anything yet. Two questions:
Is there a way to force a download of a file prior to checkout? I am selling a tournament registration (that does NOT include any physical item) that requires a registration form to be filled out. The form is an interactive PDF that will be emailed to our Event chairperson and is currently in the pub folder and is currently able to be downloaded. What I see now is that after checking out there is a download button available to the patron but by that time the patron doesn’t “Have to” fill it out. I think if I could make it a prerequisite to download prior to going to checkout this might help. Also, right now, the form opens in the browser – is there a way to force a download rather than just opening the PDF in the browser? Currently it doesn't pop up the screen that states save or open.
