    Default Re: Cache folder contains too many files to let us open it

    In the Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ... in the bottom input box, enter:
    get_template_part

    select Catalog and click SEARCH ...

    Do any of the calls for get_template_part have a second paramater missing the / on the end?

    Hi Ajeh,

    Thanks for your help. Not exactly sure what you meant. Are the following the problems you are referring to? The rest of them do have two slashes.

    this file /includes/classes/template_func.php
    Line #24 : function get_template_part($page_directory, $template_part, $file_extension = '.php') {

    this file /includes/templates/MY_TEMPLATE/common/html_header.php
    Line #71 : $directory_array = $template->get_template_part($template->get_template_dir('.css',DIR_WS_TEMPLATE, $current_page_base,'css'), $value, '.css');

    Check that file against the:
    /includes/templates/template_default/common/html_header.php

    It looks like something is not correct on it ...

    red flag error_log files

    Hi,

    We found a few error_log files and they are getting bigger. There is one in the store root, one in /admin.
    The errors seems to stop happening after upgrade. How do we delete and recreate them or will they be generated automatically after being deleted? Thanks.

    Your FIRST course of action should be to fix the errors being reported IN those logs.

    Also, you can use the log-file-cleanup option in Admin->Tools->Store Manager to delete all log files from the /cache/ folder. Remember, it does NOT do a backup for you, so it WILL remove everything permanently.

    If you believe it's not important to fix the errors being reported, then you can turn off the debug logging by deleting the enable_error_log.php file in your extra_configures folders. But I recommend fixing the errors first, as that will automatically stop it from generating any new error log files until a new error occurs.
