Admin settings vs upgrade

Hey all:

Is there anywhere to dump a general suggestion (to those who would know how to do it) for a report generator that would spit out all the settings, etc. for a zc store?

This would be suuuuper handy for disaster recovery or upgrade.

I've gone through mine and copied to spreadsheet, but this is veeeeeery tedious and I'm sure I've missed something. I'm really dreading the upgrade I'm about to undertake.

Easiest way for this is to do a data backup of the database. Most of the 'settings' are in the configuration table, although the product_type_layout and layout_boxes tables also contain a lot of settings for your layouts. Doing a regular complete backup of the database is a good idea anyways - it's important to always have a recent complete dump for disaster recovery.

It's kind of kludgy, but I save screen shots of all the admin configuration pages I have changed stuff on. bunyip's way makes more sense.
