Custom search text and button layout.

Hi all,

I am needing a bit of help on a site. I am trying to give my search_header text input a custom background. I have applied a class to it in the tpl_search_header.php file. I can give it the background image, but the problem is that its transparent (has rounded corners.) and the only way it will show is if I give it a background colour (which defeats the object). I have trawled the web, and the only solution i have come accross is to put it in a div, and give the div a background image. This does not seem to work as the text content is not actuall in the div I wrap around the php code. Does anyone have any ideas how I can get over this hurdle.


Also I am trying to make the button and Image. I am also struggling with this.

i know what you are going thru :)

depending on the template you are using the file to edit may vary well be common/tpl_header.php

please provide a url so we can give more specific help.

I will try to edit the tpl_header...

I am building the site on my local machine....sorry.
