Hi,
I had been receiving duplicate orders from my store and thought I had fixed it using the fix here → http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showpo...1&postcount=49 The duplicate orders stopped for a while but have appeared intermittent again.
Looking at my orders in the admin section today, after receiving a duplicate confirmation email order, I've notice that there is indeed a duplicate order and only one has gone through PayPal.
One has the correct payment date and time, whilst the other has a payment date for '11/30/1999 00:00:00'.
Both have the same transaction ID, but both have different IP address ranges for the order:
88.88.88.180 - 88.88.88.180 first transaction with payment date for '11/30/1999 00:00:00'
88.88.88.180 - 66.211.170.66 second transaction with correct payment date
First transaction details:
Date added - 07/13/2010 13:43:08, customer notified (yes), status processing, comments none.
Date added - 07/13/2010 13:43:10, customer notified (no), status processing, comments paypal status complete.
** note the two second difference between first and second entry times **
Second transaction details:
Date added - 07/13/2010 13:43:09, customer notified (yes), status processing, comments none.
Date added - 07/13/2010 13:43:09, customer notified (no), status processing, comments paypal status complete.
** note no difference between first and second entry times **
The IP address that uses 66.211.170.66 ( paypal ip ) seems to be the correct one and other non duplicated orders use this ip address as well.
The customer has obviously received two order confirmation emails and has now cancelled one of the payments problem is there was only one payment processed by Paypal! This is causing me grief!
Can anyone suggest a fix for this? Any help appreciated, Thanks
