Hi, I managed to upload all my products to my categories section somehow. What is the easiest way to delete them all, other than one by one. Any ideas please. Cheers.

i used easy populate . i had product model, name, status , eoreor. and all the products went into the catagories for some reason. i can only delete them 1 by 1 and there are around 2000 so a long job.
With EasyPopulate you can simply export the current data, then set the correct new category in the file and then re-load the data, and it should update the categories for you, effectively moving each product into the category you specify.
Or you can set EasyPopulate's input file to some magic code to delete the products, and it'll do the deletes of everything for you. That's in the docs if I recall correctly.

I`m aware that a status of 9 will delete a product but this has no effect on categories. I have tried downloading the model/category file to edit with epop but none of the products that are now categories appear on it so i can`t remove them that way. I am struggling to find an answer to this one. Unfortunately because there are so many categories now the task of deleting one by one is very slow indeed .. More tea required..lol.
I got my web hosting company to reload my site from a July 12th backup but unfortunately the entries stayed. still trying. any thoughts anyone?
