Need Redirect after purchase of non-download product, using website payments pro

Greetings,
I just installed the latest version of zen cart here:

We hooked it up to paypal's website payments pro and it appears to be working fine.

I searched the forum and faq for "redirect" and found only information pertaining to downloads.

After a purchase is complete, I need to redirect buyers to an otherwise hidden registration page: http://enchantmentpetresort.com/class-registration-form

Paypal support told me this was possible with zen cart, but I don't see how. Is this possible?

What you're asking for doesn't exist out-of-the-box.

You have a few options:

a) create product-attributes for all those course-registration fields, and have the customer fill in all those details when they add the course to their cart. That way all the details will be included in the order itself, and there will be no need for a separate registration form. Another benefit of this approach is there is no special security handling required. And you won't run the risk of getting spam from a separate registration form.

b) write your own unique custom coding to add the course-registration link to the checkout-success page, customer order-history, and to the order-confirmation email. The downside to this is that not only do you run the risk of getting spam from the form, but if the form link is in the customer's email, then they could use the same link again to register again for another course without paying.
If you need paid assistance in writing your own custom code, there's a "Commercial Help Wanted" section of the forum where you can post an ad for free and evaluate quotes which will be sent to you by various suitors via PM.

I agree that the first way is the best, most likely. A few questions:

Would I create the attributes in the attributes controller?
If so, will those attributes show up in the EDIT window for a given product?

I don't suppose I'll need to add any attributes for the pet owner's name, address or contact information since that is part of the buying process, right? (This is my first shopping cart ever, aside from paypal)

You are free to customize any aspect of the cart you like.

We do recommend that you create your own custom template folders to store your customizations. There are additional FAQ tutorial articles on that as well.
