hi, i use zencart 1.3.9d, and i just installed paypal ipn module, everything works perfect till a customer pays me, i money goes to my account, but no orders are shown in admin panel nor in customers account
i dont use the pdt token, because when i do, after paying a customer does not go back to my website, so removed the token from the module, now they pay, and they go back, but nor order number is shown, i tried everything that i could find online, including the troubleshooting step by step that is posted on wikipedia
i read that this may be because of using godaddy hosting, but i dont

Use Express Checkout instead of the IPN module. The fees are the same, the setup takes 3 minutes, and you won't have the headaches of the old IPN module. http://www.zen-cart.com/getpaypal

i did that, and now at step 3 when i click confirm i get this
An error occurred when we tried to contact the payment processor. Please try again, select an alternate payment method, or contact the store owner for assistance. () - (7) Failed to connect to api-3t.paypal.com IP number 1: Permission denied
whats wrong?

That's a problem being reported by your server when it attempts to use CURL to talk to PayPal, and is controlled by your hosting company.
